HOW LONG CAN I STAY IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

When you visit the Dominican Republic, you need a tourist card that normally gives you a legal stay up to 30 days.

If you want to extend the duration of your stay, you can make a request as soon as you decide to extend your vacation. The total amount of the staying extension’s tax is paid at the time of departure from the country. To request an extension, you could either visit the Immigration Department in Santo Domingo or visit their website, where you will also find some important details such as requirements and price ranges. https://migracion.gob.do/en/servicio/stay-extension/

Want to work in the DR? Temporary worker visas are granted to foreigners who have a job offer from a company duly registered in the Dominican Republic, these will have a maximum validity of up to one year, with one or multiple entries, depending on the work contract.
